My first guest for 2022 is Wayne Halabura. Wayne has his turned dreams into reality with building 34 incredible hot rods, some of which have competed for the Amber and many of which have found new owners during prime time at Barret Jackson Scottsdale. Wayne was gracious enough to share a few great stories of how so many of these amazing builds came together, and how important people in his life have helped him become the "car guy" he is today! Today I sit down for Part 1 of this podcast with my good friend Tim Roden, who works at a GM dealership. We get a chance to discuss new announcements about micro-chip shortages, where the automotive industry is headed as well as our predictions with electric cars in the future. We also chat about a cool collection of rare and collectible wheels that Tim has.

Gary and I get to chat about when his obsession for cars started, some of the cool rides he's had over the years, how he got into the automotive industry and why this past summer was the car show season ever!

This week we shift gears into something a little smaller and lighter. My guest today has been interested in European sports cars his whole life. He's always loved small, great-handling cars despite growing up in Canada in during the Muscle Car era. Collin Cossette owns Action Cycle in Moose Jaw Sk. It remains one of the last true motorcycle shops in the province, run and staffed by enthusiasts. Today we talk about the incredible collection of British and European cars Collin has owned over the years, and we get to discuss some of the fundamentals of the good ole' power to weight ratio.

Darren LaBonte from Rollin' Steel joins me for Part 2 of the podcast to compare and contrast new and old vehicles - what we like and dislike about each. The conclusion... go out and buy an old car!
